The WP Schools Chess Team will take part in the Western Cape Schools Chess Tournament against Boland and SWD on 23 October 2010 at Eversdal Primary School, Eversdal.
The WP Schools ChessTrials of 14 & 15 May 2010 was used to select the teams.
A player must have scored at least 3 points (out of 6 rounds) to qualify for the team, BUT a maximum number of 15 players per team will qualify.
The full details of tournament will be sent to the players from 6 September 2010 and will be on the website under events.
Please take note that a National Schools Chess Tournament will not be held this year and that the Western Cape Schools Chess Tournament will be the final Schools Chess Tournament for Age Groups for 2010.
